Delivery Pricing

We are able to provide a delivery service for our materials. Please take the time to read our ‘Deliveries’ page for information on our delivery service.

Our delivery charge will depend on a number of factors including:

  • method of delivery
  • location of the delivery address
  • proximity to others deliveries to be made
  • total order value

We use the following methods for delivery of goods:

  • Our Own Transport
  • Express Pallet Service (3 Days Max.)
  • Sub-Contract Haulage
  • Courier Service (parcels only)
  • Royal Mail Postage

Please remember that VAT will be added to any delivery charge.

Within these areas we usually use our Own Transport however there might be circumstances that lead us to use other methods.

Delivery lead times vary depending on the current workload but generally are between 2 and 7 days from when the goods are ex-works. If you require your goods quicker please speak to us and we will attempt to accommodate your requirements. If we are unable to meet with your delivery requirements using our own transport, we can offer our Express Pallet Shipping Service. We can also arrange for dedicated Sub-Contract Haulage but naturally this will be reflected in the charge made. In any instance, please contact us for an accurate quotation.

For Deliveries in:

  • All Other Areas

For all other areas we will generally use our Express Pallet Shipping Service or Sub-Contract Haulage, but this decision will depend on the nature of the goods to be transported. If the goods can be safely palletised and comply with the requirements of the pallet shipping company then we will use this service. In all other cases we will use sub-contract haulage.

Own Transport

Unfortunately it is not possible to publish an accurate delivery charge listing because many factors will affect the charge. However in most instances our charges are between £20 and £60. For more unusual deliveries, and those further afield within the aforementioned counties, a higher charge may apply, but generally it will not exceed £100.

Express Pallet Shipping Service

For this service please use the table below to establish the delivery charge by locating the first two digits of your postcode and then looking up the charge that applies to the dimensions of the pallet that the goods will fit onto.

  1. For goods longer than the specified pallet dimensions, multiply up the number of pallets required and then multiply up the per pallet charge above, by the same factor.
  2. Orders & payment must be received before 12:00noon for the Express Pallet Service.

Sub-Contract Haulage

We are able to organise delivery of your goods using sub-contract haulage, either on a dedicated vehicle or via groupage. For a quotation, please contact us.

Courier Service

For packets & parcels we offer a next day courier service. Via this service we can ship goods up to 10kg in weight. For shipments in excess of 10kg we will price accordingly. We offer the following next day services:

  • Standard Next Day* £12-00
  • Before 12 Noon £15-00
  • Before 10am £22-00
  • Before 9am £25-00

*Goods normally arrive before 4:30pm

Notes:

  1. The above rates apply to all England & Wales mainland postcodes only. For all other areas, please contact us for pricing.
  2. Orders & payment must be received before 3:00pm for next day delivery.

Royal Mail Postage

For lightweight goods we can use the postal service. We will levy a posting & packing charge appropriate to the nature of the goods being posted.
