What are Millboard Enhanced Grain decking boards made from?
They’re crafted from a resin-mineral composite (RMC) core with a tough, slip-resistant Lastane® surface layer. Unlike traditional wood-plastic composites, there’s no timber content, meaning no rot, splintering, or warping.
What are the board dimensions?
Each board measures 3,600mm (L) × 176mm (W) × 32mm (T), covering roughly 0.65 m² per board (around 1.54 boards per m²).
Do I need to treat or seal Millboard decking?
No – the surface is fully sealed and UV-stable. It won’t require staining, painting, or oiling at any point in its life.
What fixings should I use?
Millboard boards are installed using Durafix® screws, which can be driven straight through the surface without pre-drilling and leave an almost invisible finish.
Is it slip resistant?
Yes – the textured Lastane® surface achieves one of the highest anti-slip ratings, even in wet conditions.
What is the fire rating?
Enhanced Grain boards are Euroclass D fire rated, suitable for most residential applications.
How long does it last?
Millboard decking typically has a life expectancy of 35–40 years and comes with a 25-year residential structural warranty when registered.
