Millboard Square Step Edge provides a crisp, contemporary finish for steps, borders, and deck perimeters. Made from the same durable resin-mineral composite as Millboard decking, it offers a perfect colour match, a slip-resistant Lastane® surface, and long-lasting performance with no maintenance required.

What is the Square Step Edge used for?
It’s designed to give decking steps and borders a clean, square-edged finish, providing a modern alternative to the rounded Bullnose profile.
What lengths are available?
Each Square Step Edge board measures 2400mm in length, with a 50mm face and 32mm thickness to align neatly with Millboard decking boards.
Can it be used with all Millboard ranges?
Yes - it’s fully compatible with all Millboard decking collections, including Enhanced Grain and Weathered Oak, for a perfect colour and texture match. For Weathered Oak in Driftwood, match with Smoked Oak trims. For Weathered Oak in Embered, match with Burnt Cedar trims.
Is it slip resistant?
Yes - the textured Lastane® surface provides excellent grip underfoot, making it ideal for step edges and high-traffic areas.
Do I fix it the same way as the decking boards?
Yes - install using Durafix® screws, which can be driven directly through the surface without pre-drilling, leaving a clean, concealed finish.
Does it need any maintenance?
No - like all Millboard products, it’s fully sealed, UV-stable, and resistant to rot, meaning no staining, oiling, or painting is required.
