Millboard Weathered Oak decking captures the rich character of aged, reclaimed timber without any of the upkeep. Each board is hand-moulded from century-old oak for authentic grain and texture, then finished with a tough, slip-resistant Lastane® surface that won’t rot, splinter or fade. The result is a striking, timeworn look that delivers lasting performance in any outdoor space.
- Authentic aged timber look – moulded from 100-year-old oak for true weathered character.
- Low maintenance – no need for staining, sealing, or treating at any stage.
- Highly durable – resin-mineral composite core resists rot, warping, and impact.
- Slip resistant – textured Lastane® surface provides reliable grip in all conditions.
- UV stable finish – retains its colour and charm for decades outdoors.
What is Millboard Weathered Oak decking made from?
It’s built from Millboard’s unique resin-mineral composite (RMC) core, capped with a UV-stable Lastane® surface that replicates aged oak texture and colour. There’s no timber content, so it won’t rot, splinter, or warp.
What are the board dimensions?
Each board measures 3,600mm (L) × 200mm (W) × 32mm (T), covering roughly 0.74 m² per board (about 1.36 boards per m²).
What’s the difference between Weathered Oak and Enhanced Grain?
Weathered Oak boards are moulded from century-old oak for a rustic, reclaimed appearance, while Enhanced Grain boards have a cleaner, contemporary cut-timber look.
Do I need to treat or seal Millboard decking?
No – the surface is fully sealed and colour-stable, so there’s no need for oiling, painting, or staining.
What fixings are recommended?
Use Millboard Durafix® stainless steel screws; they drive straight into the board without pre-drilling and leave a near-invisible finish.
How slip resistant is it?
Extremely. The textured Lastane® surface provides high grip levels even when wet, ideal for all-weather outdoor use.
What is the fire rating?
Weathered Oak boards carry a Euroclass D fire rating, suitable for most domestic installations.
What’s the expected lifespan and warranty?
With correct installation, boards have a life expectancy of 35–40 years and are covered by a 25-year residential structural warranty (registration required).
Which colours are available in the Weathered Oak range?
Options include Embered, Driftwood, and Vintage, each hand-coloured for realistic aged timber character.
