  • Why would I need a corner overflow protector for my metal guttering?
Overflow protectors are used on sections of guttering where larger flows of water are produced and there is danger of rainwater spilling over the front edge of the gutter.  The overflow protector adds a front lip to the gutter and avoids the need to install complete runs of larger capacity gutter to compensate just one high flow area. Corner overflow protectors specifically are used on internal corners at the point where two roofs produce water flow to one valley which can often be an area that results in over spill during heavy rain.

  • How do I fit the corner overflow protector?
The Overflow protector simply lays inside the installed internal gutter corner and the outer clips fit neatly over the rolled front edge of the gutter corner.

  • Can I retrofit the overflow protector?
Yes, we find that most overflow protectors are installed as an afterthought following heavy rain when the gutter experienced over spill.
