Southern Sheeting's Commitment to Local Impact Through Sponsorship and Support
At Southern Sheeting, we understand the importance of community engagement and giving back to our local area. We have always been dedicated to supporting our local community and demonstrate this commitment by granting our team three fully paid volunteering days each year. During these days, our team members have the choice to volunteer for a charity close to their hearts or participate in our own volunteering program, which has benefited numerous local charities and organizations over the years. Organisations and charities include working with the Bluebell Railway, the local Garden Army, Riding for the Disabled, and assisting the rangers clearing in Ashdown Forest.
In line with our dedication to community support, we are delighted to announce our sponsorship of this year's East Grinstead Lions Charity Advent Calendar, contributing a £500 cash star prize! Furthermore, our Managing Director, Tony Hobbs, actively participated by joining the Lions and assisting in the sale of advent calendars during the town's annual Big Reveal event.
The advent calendars are available for purchase at £6 each, inclusive of the delivery charge for online sales. Importantly, all profits generated from the sales contribute towards aiding those in need in East Grinstead and beyond. Specifically, all monies raised from the sale of Prize Advent Calendars and Christmas cards will be used to support EG Lions Community projects. These projects include the Prostate Screening Day and the ongoing Warm Over Winter campaign, which assists those experiencing fuel poverty during this time. Additionally, funds will be allocated for requests to the Lions from schools for equipment, local groups, and charities, as well as personal requests from families and individuals in need.
