How to fix the Steel Drip Trim?
Steel Drip Trims should cut to the width of the window or door and fitted to the joists above prior to the composite slat cladding being installed. Use screw fixings at 300mm centres to fix the drip trim.
How should I cut the Steel Drip Trim?
You can cut the drip trim using either a hack saw or a circular saw with steel cutting blade. Avoid using an angle grinder as it can burn the galvanised coating and can lead to rusting
Can I butt joint two lengths Drip Trims together?
For long runs of Drip Trims (usually above patio type doors) you can loosely but the trims together. There is very minimal thermal movement with steel and so there is no need to leave a gap.
Can I get samples of Bison Composite Batten Cladding products?
